PONTIANAK – Vice Governor of West Kalimantan, Drs. H. Ria Norsan, M.M., M.H., welcoming the visit of Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission of West Kalimantan at Vice Governor Office, Tuesday (2/9/2021).
The purpose of the visit is delivering the report to the Vice Governor of West Kalimantan as the Provincial Government and also expressing the plan of Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) of West Kalimantan in 2021.
The Vice Governor of West Kalimantan appreciates the agenda held by KPID of West Kalimantan. He expects the control of broadcasting for the people will be better.
“Carry out the main task of KPID in contributing toward the people in providing the good broadcasts to the West Kalimantan community,” He expected.
On the same occasion, the Head of West Kalimantan KPID, Iwan Kurniawan, S.T. said that according to the Law on Job Creation, there will be no more analog switch off (ASO). And the implementation should be done on November 2022.
“ Therefore, there will be no more analog television, West Kalimantan KPID must build the transmitter station or others facilities in West Kalimantan in supporting the movement from the analog to digital,” The Head of West Kalimantan KPID described.
